At PhantomTech Repairs, we are committed to responsible e-waste management and adhere to all environmental regulations regarding the disposal and reuse of electronic equipment. We gladly accept donations of computers, whether you no longer need them or simply want to give them away.

Donation Acceptance:

• Donations: We accept desktop PCs, laptops, and other computer hardware that you wish to donate.

• Condition: Your donation can be in working condition or non-functional. All devices will be inspected and either refurbished for reuse or responsibly recycled.

Data Security and Wiping:

• Data Wiping: As part of our e-waste protocol, all donated devices will be wiped completely. We ensure that all data on hard drives, SSDs, and any other storage devices are securely erased to protect your privacy.

• Compliance: Our data wiping process follows industry best practices and meets all legal and environmental guidelines, ensuring complete removal of personal information.

E-Waste Guidelines:

• Reuse and Recycling: Devices that are not suitable for reuse will be recycled following all applicable e-waste disposal regulations. This includes breaking down the components and properly disposing of hazardous materials.

• Environmental Responsibility: By donating your old computers, you contribute to reducing electronic waste and help us provide training opportunities for aspiring technicians using refurbished components.
